We are looking for a motivated Surface Design Engineer that will be responsible for the generation of aerodynamic surfaces required to support the aerodynamic development programme. This includes supporting Aerodynamicists with CAD model creation, maintenance and improvements; and ensuring all surfaces are legal to FIA regulations. Strong degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar.
Solid foundation of engineering principles and the application of them to engineering problems.
Experience in CAD systems, preferably in Siemens NX.
Microsoft Office literate.
Clear and concise communication.
Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
Able to feedback suggestions for improvements.
Continual personal development with bias to time and quality efficiencies.
Initiative and Innovation.
An organized and methodical approach to work, excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
Team-player attitude and the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
