Cost Cap Analyst
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize the cost cap to ensure full compliance with FIA financial regulations and efficient budget spending.
- Prepare, validate, and execute accurate, timely submissions of all official FIA financial regulations documentation.
- Lead periodic FIA audits and serve as the absolute expert on all cost cap matters.
- Drive robust financial reporting and run strategic simulations to ensure smart cost allocation choices.
- Work directly with technical and operational teams to translate complex cost structures into clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to navigate the fast-paced regulatory landscape.
- Track new developments in FIA financial regulations continuously and proactively evaluate their strategic impact on the team.
Your profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Substantial experience in financial analysis or cost controlling, ideally within Formula 1, elite motorsport, or another high-stakes environment.
- Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, or German financial regulations, with the ability to bridge standard accounting to FIA frameworks.
- Deep understanding of cost engineering, project tracking, and asset management under strict regulatory boundaries.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills combined with laser-focused attention to detail.
- Proven track record in cost management and budget optimization.
- Dynamic, passionate team player who takes absolute ownership in a high-performance environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and solid experience with ERP systems.
- Professional English is an absolute requirement, and German language skills are a strong plus.
