Job Description
As a Concept Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of Cadillac Formula 1® Team cars—developing visionary concepts that challenge convention and deliver competitive advantage on the world stage.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating and evolving advanced vehicle layouts and design schemes that align with our strategic and technical objectives. Your work will directly influence the architecture and performance of future race cars, combining creativity with engineering feasibility to deliver breakthrough solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a team that is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Formula 1®.
To support the Head of Concept design in laying out the architecture of our future cars
Assist in providing schemes of alternative potential structures for further analysis
Investigate alternative solutions to current layouts of car systems
Provide design support to other groups as required to meet the overall delivery targets for the current car
Requirements

What do you need to bring to the team?
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in Formula 1® or high-level motorsport environments preferred
Proven ability to lead design projects, from concept through to delivery
Strong understanding of vehicle performance parameters and racing car systems
Skills in surfacing are considered an advantage but are not required
Knowledge of composite materials, design principles, and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines
Proficient in IT tools including Microsoft Office; committed to contributing to an open, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
